Started Excellence In Crane Manufacturing From 1947
Long way back in 1947-48 Sardar Jaidev Singh along with his eldest son Sardar Gurcharan Singh (Grand Father and Father Respectively) Directors Of Tib Engineering Private Limited had started a welding fabrication unit in Ambala Cantt. Which, with the co-operation of Ministry Of Defence, was developed into a partnership firm named Tib Engineering Works, Sadar Bazar Road Ambala Cantt. Which Started manufaturing of high quality of EOT/HOT Cranes, Hoists Etc. and isntalled hundreds of them into various departments of Ministry Of Defence which are still functioning quite satisfactorily. After splitting up of Partnership firm, all its partners (except late S. Gurcharan Singh) are doing their own business under their own names and styles independently.
The Director Of Tib Engineering Private Limited being son of Late S. Gurcharan Singh (Partner Of M/s Tib Engineering Works) having a vast experience in his traditional business as a torch-bearer of his forefathers, has set up a Manufacturing unit of his own under the name of ‘Tib Enginering Private Limited’, in January 2012 having its well equiped spacious factory on Ambala – Chandigarh National Highway 22 Village Sarsini Lalru SAS Nagar Pinjab 140501 and corporate office at 124, Staff Road Ambala Cantt. EOT Cranes
EOT crane is extensively used in the Railway workshops, Manufacturing units, warehouses, unloading or relocating heavy load. Generally speaking, the EOT crane is equipped with the mechanical means to travel in both directions and can also raise or lower the heavy load easily.
HOT Cranes
HOT is an abbreviation of ‘Hand Operated Travelling’ Crane. This crane is a special crane model with a stationary overhead model. It helps with the lateral movement of materials across two different planes.
Under Slung Cranes
These cranes are hung under the runway beams. Hence they are called underhung cranes or underslung cranes. These cranes are also known as Transfer Cranes, as they can transfer loads from one bay to another directly from the crane to crane.
JIB Cranes

Hoists
A hoist is a machine that performs a single task very well: lifting and lowering a load on a vertical plane (Figure 1, Motion 3). Hoists are situated on the primary horizontal beam of the crane, called the bridge girder.
